In the summer of 2023, Canadian country artist Ben Chase connected with NovaCurrent PR. Our first project together was to secure a premiere for his new video, “Small Town Talking” and pitch it to CMT properties in Nashville and Australia.
Through this campaign, we secured a video premiere for “Small Town Talking” through The Nash News. The video was also featured by CMT.com and added to rotation on two programming blocks of CMT Australia, allowing Ben to grow his visibility and credibility in these critical markets.
We continued our work with Ben Chase for the promotion of his next single, “Saltwater Cowboy”. The goal for this campaign was to secure coverage leading into his upcoming album release and two of his Canadian shows in Halifax and Calgary.
The music publicity campaign for “Saltwater Cowboy” included highlights such as a single premiere by Canadian Beats, a music video premiere by Front Porch Music, a CTV Atlantic News feature about the music video release, a CTV Atlantic television interview, a CTV Calgary News at Noon interview, and an interview by Authority Magazine. The music video for “Saltwater Cowboy” was also featured by CMT.com and added in rotation on two programming blocks by CMT Australia. Front Porch Music later named “Saltwater Cowboy” one of its Top 10 Songs of 2023 based on website traffic.
