In August of 2019, NovaCurrent Public Relations worked with Canadian country artist Amanda Jordan on the publicity outreach for her single, “Driving in the Dark”. The goal of this campaign was to gain high value coverage in Canada to accompany the radio release while expanding Amanda’s media visibility elsewhere.
As a result of this campaign, Amanda Jordan earned 40 interviews and features in support of “Driving in the Dark”, some of which came from a Toronto press day that we coordinated.
Campaign highlights included television segments on The Morning Show (Global Toronto), CTV Morning Live Ottawa, and Global News Morning Kingston, as well as interviews and features from Top Country, CelebMix, Canadian Beats, The Harlton Empire, Front Porch Music, VENTS Magazine, Inside Ottawa Valley, Women of Country, Talk Nerdy to Us, Rudy Blair, and Ottawa Life.
In the winter of 2022, NovaCurrent Public Relations reconnected with Amanda Jordan to prepare her application to the FACTOR Juried Sound Recording program.
NovaCurrent worked with Amanda on all aspects of the initial application to the Sound Recording component of the program – including building supplementary materials, and designing a marketing plan.
Amanda Jordan was approved for funding in the FACTOR Juried Sound Recording program in the spring of 2023. The funding will be used for the creation of her debut album.
