In the spring of 2020, Canadian country artist Alli Walker hired NovaCurrent Public Relations to prepare her application to the FACTOR Juried Sound Recording program.
We worked with Alli on all aspects of the initial application to the Sound Recording component of the program – including building supplementary materials, and designing a marketing plan.
Alli Walker was approved for funding in the FACTOR Juried Sound Recording program in the fall of 2020.
The funding has been used for the creation, distribution, videography, and promotion of her 2023 album “Growing Up” – including the singles “Country Music”, “Maybe I’m Still Drunk”, “Home Town Home”, and “Red Wine or Whiskey”.
In the spring of 2023, we worked with Alli Walker again to pitch her music video “Growing Up” to select CMT properties in Nashville and Australia to elevate her brand awareness in these markets.
Through this outreach, CMT.com featured Alli Walker’s “Growing Up” on the CMT Videos page and CMT Australia added the song in rotation on two programming blocks. These collective placements marked Alli Walker’s video debut on CMT properties.
